Welcome to Seoul 2013

Dear Fellow Worker in God’s Mission,

Asia Missions Association (AMA) is proud of its 40 years of service in God’s Kingdom and is renewing its commitment to help fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission in Asia and beyond. The Holy Spirit has manifested God’s special favor to His people by opening new avenues for evangelism, discipleship, mission and many other ways.Tim 2013rev

In 1973, Dr. David J. Cho consulted with other Christian leaders about the formation of an association that will link all Asian countries for God’s mission. The initiative has birthed the Asia Missions Association. Every three years, leaders of national missions associations and mission bodies gather to share what God has been doing in their respective countries, exchange notes, share new trends in the ministry and learn from each other how we can effectively carry on our God’s mission. The past ten conventions were very fruitful. Among the highlights of the past meetings was the fostering of cooperative work between Western Mission and Non-Western Mission. We are thankful to those who served in the Board as well as those who directly steered AMA to where it is at this time.

This year marks the 40th Anniversary of AMA and the 11th Triennial Convention. Let us come together and celebrate God’s faithfulness to us. On October 7 -11, 2013, the 11th Triennial Convention will be held in Incheon, South Korea at the beautiful campus of State of New York University – Korea (SUNY-Korea). The convention will be participated in by members of Asia Missions Associations, Asian Society of Missiology, and East-West Center for Missions Research and Development, international and national mission/church leaders, mission professors and teachers, representatives of mission federations in Latin America, Europe, Africa, Australia and North America.

I would like to encourage you to register as soon as possible. Click here to register online. If you need assistance for obtaining entry visa to Korea, please let us know.

I look forward to your registration and meeting you in person. God bless!
